HVAC Commissioning Engineer - London/South East

Carbon60 are looking for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team working on diverse projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

This role is ideal for candidates based in London or the South East with strong expertise in HVAC commissioning and a background in water treatment or water hygiene.

What you’ll do
  • Commission, test, and balance HVAC systems to meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform system checks, troubleshooting, and adjustments for optimal efficiency.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors during installation and commissioning.
  • Carry out air and water balancing, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed commissioning documentation and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in HVAC commissioning, including chilled water, heating, ventilation, ASHP/CHP systems.
  • Familiarity with commissioning tools and BMS systems (e.g., Trend).
  • Relevant qualifications such as CSA, NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards (BSRIA, CIBSE, HVCA).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and flexibility to travel.
  • Full UK driving licence and health & safety awareness.
