Job summary

GTS International is seeking a Commissioning Engineer/ Site Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering support at customer sites. The role involves commissioning, maintaining, and optimising electro‑mechanical equipment while ensuring safety, first-time fix performance, and strong customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will combine technical capability with a professional on-site presence and a disciplined approach to processes and quality, with responsibilities spanning site

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience).
• A good mixture of Mechanical and Electrical skills.
• Proven experience working with electro-mechanical equipment (e.g. packaging, automation etc).
• Strong experience in a customer-facing engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Commission and ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance to OEM standards.
• Diagnose faults methodically and deliver effective first-time fixes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage parts usage, stock control, and related documentation accurately.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe, serviceable condition.

Salary: £35-40k per annum (inclusive of shift uplift)

Location: Warrington, Cheshire

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer/ Site Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering support at customer sites.

This role is responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and optimising electro-mechanical equipment while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and first-time fix performance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, a professional on-site presence, and a disciplined approach to processes and quality.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - Day shift - 10am-6pm
