Job summary

NG Bailey Group is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join the team based in the Southwest of England. The role focuses on delivering a structured commissioning process to ensure building services operate as designed.

You will support Commissioning Managers, oversee activities, and help in obtaining client acceptance of procedures and reports. The role emphasizes safety, planning, and collaboration with project teams.

• Liaise with the project managers representatives
• Liaise with specialist commissioning contractors
• Write and maintain Safe Systems of Work including risk assessments.
• Ensure all pre commissioning system checks and reports are produced as needed.

Summary

NG Bailey ais currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer with experience of MEP/building services projects, to join our team based out of the Southwest of England.

In this role you will ensure that a planned, programmed, auditable and structured approach to the commissioning process is carried out to the highest standards, supporting Commissioning Managers and making sure the installed building services operate in accordance with the design intent.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
