Job Description:

Elsdon Group is working with a leading Wind Turbine manufacturer that has a strong presence in the UK, delivering multi-MW projects. They are currently looking to add a Commissioning Engineer to their team in the UK. This role is remote, but you will be required to be on site on a rotation basis, which could be anywhere in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site and Project teams to deliver new projects, major repairs, and maintenance. The candidate should be comfortable handling multiple tasks requiring various skills and prioritizing them appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Ensure project plan is progressing to meet deadlines
• Commissioning of MV/LV systems
• Scope LV and MV electrical works

Qualifications/Experience

• Wind industry experience is not necessary but would be an advantage
• Solid experience commissioning LV/MV systems
• Willing to stay away from home on a rotation basis
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
