Job summary

Sierra CP Engineering Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our field-based team. You will be responsible for commissioning equipment, plant and systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation and meeting project deadlines.

You will calibrate and set up electronic data acquisition, electrical and mechanical systems, run tests, gather results and provide initial customer training on operating the supplied system. You’ll work with customers to achieve sign-off.

Qualifications

• 5 years of equipment commissioning experience.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Willing to travel 100% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Commission equipment, plant and systems and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Develop and carry out test procedures and verify performance.
• Calibrate and set up electronic data acquisition, electrical and mechanical systems, perform test runs and gather results.

At Sierra CP Engineering Ltd we have a fantastic opportunity for Commissioning Engineer to join our Team.

The role

You will play a key role commissioning equipment, plant and systems and ensure that everything is working safely and efficiently.

You will be responsible for completing work within agreed deadlines, developing and carrying out test procedures, and verifying that equipment performs as required.

You will be calibrating and setting up electronic data acquisition, electrical and mechanical systems, performing test runs and gathering results.

You will provide initial customer training in operation of the supplied system, and you will work with customers to achieve system functionality sign off.

The role requires travelling to customers sites, both within the UK and worldwide, therefore flexibility would be required.

This role is a key component to our process, and we are looking for committed, enthusiastic employee. Ideal candidate will be technically minded with a solution driven approach and have extensive experience in equipment commissioning.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs/week, with early finish on Friday
