We're looking for a practical, hands‑on Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer to support the build, testing, installation and servicing of bespoke industrial process equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative, custom‑built machinery from initial assembly through to commissioning at customer sites across the UK and internationally. Supporting the electrical build and integration of bespoke machinery.
Testing and validating complete machine systems before customer acceptance.
Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites in the UK and overseas.
Carrying out fault finding, maintenance and technical support.
Delivering customer training and supporting Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT).
Contributing to continuous improvement by feeding back lessons learned from commissioning and service activities.
Essential:
HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience commissioning, servicing or supporting industrial machinery or bespoke OEM equipment.
Strong electrical fault‑finding skills and knowledge of industrial control systems.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally.
Desirable:
Experience with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley or similar PLCs.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP or Modbus.
Experience with AutoCAD or EPLAN.
Understanding of CE/UKCA Machinery Regulations.
Experience with high‑power industrial equipment.
