Job summary

ReeVR in London is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer specialising in smoke control and smoke ventilation systems. You will install, commission and test fire-safe solutions across diverse building projects in London and Greater London.

The role demands hands-on experience with AOVs, smoke dampers, validation of ventilation systems, and integration with BMS and fire alarm networks. You will read electrical drawings, troubleshoot faults and work closely with Project Managers, engineers

Qualifications

• Smoke control and smoke ventilation experience is required.
• Experience commissioning AOVs, smoke dampers and ventilation systems.
• Strong electrical installation and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

Commissioning Engineer - Smoke Control

Location: London & Greater London - travel required
Salary: £40k - £50k
Hours: Monday-Friday

MUST HAVE COMMISSIONING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE FIRE INDUSTRY / SMOKE CONTROL / SMOKE VENTILATION

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in smoke control and smoke ventilation systems or fire alarms.

This is a hands-on role covering installation, testing and commissioning of smoke control systems across a variety of building projects throughout London and Greater London.

The Role

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:

• Install and commission smoke control systems
• Commission AOVs, smoke dampers and ventilation systems
• Test, balance and troubleshoot systems
• Complete electrical wiring and power distribution
• Integrate systems with BMS and fire alarm systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Identify and resolve technical faults

About You

The successful Commissioning Engineer will have:

• Essential: Smoke control / smoke ventilation experience
• Experience commissioning AOVs, smoke dampers and ventilation systems
• Strong electrical installation and commissioning experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of relevant fire safety and building regulations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London & Greater London
