Job summary

GAUCHO is seeking a Commis Waiter / Food Runner for a festive period fixed-term contract. The role suits someone eager to learn, positive, and ready to work within a team and assist wherever needed.

The position focuses on supporting service operations, maintaining table readiness, and upholding GAUCHO’s standards during a busy seasonal period. Training and benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company rules, regulations and procedures.
• Provide back up service to all service operations.
• Ensure tables are cleared and cleaned and reset during service.
• Ensure bus stations are stocked and set for service.
• Act as a role model to new employees with a positive approach to the job.
• Strive to make every guest a repeat guest by completing the cycle of service every time.

This is a temporary position on a fixed-term contract until 3 January 2027. GAUCHO are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Waiter / Food Runner to join the team over the festive period!
