Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team. You’ll prep and bring the menu to life, learning new skills and taking ownership of a kitchen section as you progress.

We welcome candidates with a passion for food, ready to work as part of a lively team in a fast-paced environment, and to grow along the internal career pathway toward Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a Kitchen Porter.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced kitchen with a team.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Passion to deliver hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life.
• Assist in learning prepping skills and bringing dishes to life.
• Support the kitchen team with daily running of the kitchen.
• Work as part of a busy team to deliver quality meals.
