The Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder is seeking a creative, ambitious Commis Chef in Pastry to join our Pastry Culinary team. The role offers a 46-hour contract with an on-target earning potential of £38,655 per year, comprised of a base salary of £33,655 plus an estimated £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

We are currently seeking a creative, ambitious and curious Commis Chef, Pastry, to join our Pastry Culinary team.

• You’ll be learning lots on the job, and as you gain more experience, responsibility will come with this


• Playing a key part in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and inspirational items


• Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high


• Bringing delicious, creative and bespoke flavours and creations to our guests’ tables; you’ll become an asset to your team, determined to grab every opportunity and you have a huge appetite to learn from the best in the business


• Maintaining a can-do and problem-solving attitude, you have a fantastic eye for the precision required in Pastry


• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
