What We Are Looking For
- Report promptly for duty in a clean chef uniform.
- Ensure punctuality at all times.
- Prepare and produce food to the highest standards as specified by Senior Kitchen staff.
- Report any shortages of stock and stores to Chef de Partie.
- Prepare mise en place under Chef de Partie's instructions.
- Ensure correct stock rotation and proper storage of food.
- Keep your section tidy and clean.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene regulations.
- Follow Health and Safety regulations diligently.
- Maintain tidy, fresh, and properly stocked mise en place.
- Fill in for any position or station as required by Chef or Sous Chef.
- Check, prepare, and supervise food preparation to high standards.
- Report equipment faults immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company matters.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the four key behaviours of the Customer Service model.
- Maintain high standards in all kitchen areas and report maintenance needs promptly.
Who You Are
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Flexible with working hours and roles.
- Qualified in Food Safety.
- Knowledge of Club & Company Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures.
- Good communication skills with peers and superiors.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
