Job summary

Marston’s pub group is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll fit right in if you have a passion for food and want to grow your career in a lively kitchen.

As a Commis Chef you’ll learn the kitchen, work in a fast-paced team and have the chance to progress through our internal career pathway toward Sous Chef, with benefits including flexible and part-time hours and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Be a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.
• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life.
• Own a section of the kitchen and develop new prepping skills.
