Job summary

The Abbey is hiring a Commis Chef to join our small brigade and support the production of quality fresh food across Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Banqueting.

This role offers live-in accommodation and a competitive annual salary of 26,500 with excellent benefits and a service charge; you will work early and late shifts on a 5-day rota and develop your cooking skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of food production, preparation and presentation, ideally in a commercial kitchen.
• A foundation food preparation qualification, or this may be something that we can assist you with by studying for an Apprenticeship.
• Genuine interest in food and enthusiasm for creating good food.
• Willingness to work hard in a busy environment.
• Ability to display food safety knowledge in every aspect of your working day.
• Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Commis Chef - Live in Accommodation Available

This is an excellent opportunity to join our small brigade of chefs as a Commis Chef helping to produce quality fresh food for our Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Banqueting areas.

Our team of chefs are essential to the success of our busy restaurant, bars and meeting and events spaces and as Commis Chef, keen to develop skills and succeed; you will prepare and produce quality food to the highest standard. As Commis Chef you will have...
