Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn prepping skills, bring dishes to life for the first time, and own a section of the kitchen as you grow.

As a Commis Chef, you’ll have the chance to develop your career within a supportive kitchen, working with a team in a fast-paced environment and laying the groundwork for progression toward Sous Chef through our internal DNA pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• From learning new prepping skills, bringing a meal to life for the first time, to owning a section of the kitchen.
