Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Commis Chef to work Wednesday to Sunday, 6:30am–3:00pm. You will assist with measuring, peeling, chopping and mixing ingredients, handle deliveries, and ensure stock is ready for service.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knife skills, food preparation skills, and time management.
• Must be able to work under pressure with good organisation.
• Commercial kitchen experience valued but not essential.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, peeling, chopping, and mixing ingredients
• Processing kitchen deliveries, ensuring workstation always has ingredients and equipment
• Stock rotation to ensure fresh produce and recording wastage
• Assist with preparation of basic ingredients and dishes
• Keep kitchen clean and organised, adhering to food safety standards
