Job description

Introduction

The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025 and part of the Rosewood Hotel Group, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will feature 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, along with various dining and entertainment spaces to provide a platform for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to assist the senior culinary team in ensuring the smooth operation of the Delicatessen kitchen, a large outlet serving gourmet plated foods such as soups, salads, and sandwiches for both internal and external guests. The role involves maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, while promoting teamwork and collaboration with kindness and respect. This position is scheduled to start in June 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to prepare, cook, and plate dishes to the highest standards.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized section, adhering to all HACCP standards.
  3. Follow recipes and technical sheets accurately, and stay informed about all menu allergens and their contents.
  4. Take pride and ownership of your section, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  5. Support Rosewood Impacts by promoting sustainable practices and circular hospitality.
