Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team in Bournemouth. You’ll prep, create and bring our menu to life while learning prep skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, delivering hot meals to spec and supporting the kitchen daily. The role offers progression toward Sous Chef and sits within an award-winning local pub company that values people and opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or as an experienced KP (kitchen porter).
• Willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Grow your career through our internal DNA pathway towards Sous Chef.
• Help deliver consistent, temp-controlled meals that meet spec and timing.
