Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team in the United Kingdom. You will work enthusiastically, assist senior chefs, and prepare ingredients for cooking.

After training, you will work self-sufficiently, maintain fridges and storage, cook and plate meals to approved recipes, and operate ovens and stoves safely with proper temperature control.

Responsibilities

• Work enthusiastically as a member of our busy kitchen team
• Undertake training & development from senior chefs
• Following training, be confident in working self sufficiently
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling & chopping
• Maintain fridges and other food storage areas, monitoring and recording temperatures
• Cook and plate food according to agreed recipes and standards
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers in a safe manner & ensuring correctness of temperatures.
• Set-up and break down work station, washing and disinfecting kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
