Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team in the pub environment. You will prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new skills and taking ownership of a kitchen section.

You’ll grow your career through our internal pathway, with opportunities to progress and a range of benefits that support your wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and cooking to spec
• Support daily kitchen operations and cleanliness
• Collaborate with the team to deliver consistent quality
• Learn and adapt to different kitchen sections as required
• Contribute to a lively, positive kitchen environment

Skills

Experience in a Chef role
