Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy pub kitchen. You’ll prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new skills and taking ownership of a section of the kitchen.

From helping with the day-to-day running to delivering hot meals to spec, you’ll grow your career in a supportive, lively team. We’ll support your progression through our internal pathways and apprenticeships, with real benefits that include staff discounts, meal deals, flexible hours and access to wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Learn prepping skills and take ownership of a kitchen section.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Help deliver meals to spec and maintain quality.
• Join our internal career pathway towards Sous Chef.

As Commis Chef:There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
