Job summary

Marston’s PLC in Preston is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team at the pub level. You will prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new prep skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

As Commis Chef, you’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, support the team with day-to-day operations, and focus on delivering great hot food to spec every time while developing your career through our DNA pathway. We offer a friendly, people-led environment with flexible hours and benefits including staff

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a Kitchen Porter (KP).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.
• Willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and cooking to support the kitchen team.
• Help run day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain standards.
• Work as part of a team to ensure menus are delivered to spec.
