Job summary

Penwig Hotel is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen and help prep, create and bring our menu to life. You’ll learn new prep skills, bring a meal to life for the first time, and own a section of the kitchen while growing your career.

There’s plenty to get involved with in a fast-paced team, and we’ll support your development with an internal pathway toward becoming a Sous Chef and unlocking real opportunities within Marston’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Chef role or as a KP.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life.
• Learn new prepping skills and deliver dishes to spec.
• Own a section of the kitchen and support daily operations.
• Work with the team to ensure great, hot food every time.
