Job summary

Marston’s Pub is looking for a Commis Chef to help prep, cook and bring the pub menu to life. You’ll learn new prepping skills, contribute to daily kitchen duties and own a section of the kitchen.

We’ll support your career with our internal pathway toward Sous Chef, and offer flexible and part-time hours, with benefits that include staff discounts, meal deals, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a KP.
• Willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Works well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Supports kitchen day-to-day running.
• Delivers great hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, cook and bring pub menu to life as part of the kitchen team.
• Learn and apply prep skills and kitchen procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Deliver meals to spec with consistency in a fast-paced setting.

As Commis Chef:

There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
