Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team in Cardiff. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, owning a section of the kitchen and learning through a clear career pathway toward Sous Chef.

You’ll work in a supportive team in a fast-paced pub environment, delivering hot dishes to spec and contributing to daily kitchen operations while benefiting from flexible hours and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Own a section of the kitchen and contribute to menu prep.
• Support the kitchen team with daily running of the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
