Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience is preferable.
• Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards are beneficial.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques and COSHH.

The Role will involve the following:

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats, and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation and cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards

Essential Skills

• Good work ethic and ability to work as part of a busy team
• Enjoys a busy environment
• Flexible approach to the working week
• Methodical and clean worker

Ideal Skills (training available if suitable):

• Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
• Minimum 6 months relevant experience
• Awareness of manual handling techniques
• Awareness of COSHH and chemical safety
• Experience of kitchen equipment and dangerous tools such as knives
