Barrafina in Soho, London, is seeking a Commis Chef to join a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen. You will work alongside a talented team, delivering exceptional Spanish-inspired dishes and maintaining the highest standards.

The role offers competitive pay up to £37,182 per year based on 48 hours weekly, plus extensive staff perks and development opportunities within Harts Group.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef at a fast paced high quality Restaurant.
• Passion for food and learning a cuisine.
• Consistently maintain the highest standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Communicate effectively and clearly at all times.
• Be the face of a Group known for its warm welcome and guest care.
• Managing and exceeding guest expectations.
• Strong command of English language.
• Good knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and allergens.
• Strong team ethic showing respect for your colleagues.
• Ensure exceptional quality food and drink is consistently delivered.
• Interest and love for Spanish food and culture.
• Passion for the Hospitality Industry and your own development is a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.
• Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth service.
• Contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences at Barrafina.
• Assist with knowledge of menus, ingredients and allergens.

Barrafina is a highly awarded Modern Spanish bar Restaurant in London, serving the highest quality seasonal ingredients.

The guests eat and drink on a beautiful marble-topped bar where and watch the chefs at work. The front of house teams work around the bar, creating an energetic and uniquely enjoyable service. The cuisine is authentic and exceptional, our Chefs create a new menu daily based on the freshest produce that comes through the door.
