Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is hiring a Commis Chef to support the Head and Sous Chefs in running the kitchen while upholding HACCP standards. You will help monitor food quality, hygiene, and consistency, taking direction from department managers and contributing to a proactive, efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotels or similar role.
• Passion for food and culinary interest.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and help monitor food quality and hygiene standards.
• Follow the Head Chef's example of excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support colleagues in observing hygiene during food preparation and storage.

Your Job

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.

• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
• Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

What You'll Need

• Have previous experience working within hotels or in a similar role.
• Have a passion for and genuine interest in food.
• Be a team player.
• Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
