Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, is seeking a Commis Chef for our Main Kitchen. The role involves 39 hours over 5 days with rotating, night shifts starting at 9pm or 10pm, and requires dedication to quality, hygiene, and teamwork in a luxury hotel setting.

You will work under the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs, ensuring mise en place and high standards of cooking and presentation across daily operations.

As a Commis Chef at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:

As a Commis Chef, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will be night shifts, starting at either 9pm or 10pm (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Night Chef candidate, you must have previous experience working in a high-quality kitchen. You will be trustworthy, reliable, and committed to your role.
