Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, is seeking an In Room Dining Supervisor to lead the team and ensure exceptional service. You will take phone orders, deliver F&B service to guests and residents, and manage inventory.

This role operates on a 39-hour, five-day rotating schedule. The successful candidate will have strong communication, multitasking abilities and prior experience in luxury F&B. We offer development, staff benefits and discount programs.

IN ROOM DINING SUPERVISOR, IN ROOM DINING 39 hours, 5 days per week

As a Supervisor at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

• Taking Food & Beverage orders via the phone from guests, adhering to the LQA and Forbes standards at all times.
• Providing efficient Food & Beverage service, ensuring guest and resident satisfaction is achieved throughout their experience.
• Updating the internal system accordingly, ensuring attention to detail and management of inventory.
• Demonstrating full knowledge of the In Room Dining menu and beverage list in order to make recommendations and respond to guest requests.
• Leading by example to train and manage the team.

As a Supervisor in the In Room Dining department, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week.

To be a successful Supervisor Candidate, you will have excellent communication skills, and a focus on high quality customer service. You will display strong multitasking skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure. Previous experience within a similar role in Food & Beverage is desirable.
