Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef that has a true passion for great food with a clear focus on presentation and quality and would like to progress through the business. Apprentices will be considered for this role.

A contemporary coastal Hotel, hidden away, loved by locals and cherished by travellers who come for simple seaside pleasures where England’s climate is at its kindest. Just to the south of the hotel lies Clacton-on-Sea – a playground for good, old-fashioned family fun. Just to the north, genteel Frinton, the quintessential English seaside resort.

Right on the prom, resplendent in powder blue, the Kingscliff, with her 30 rooms, restaurant and relaxing garden, is just the spot for taking in the sea air, tucking into the freshest of seafood, and simply stepping back to watch the world go by. Duties will include:

1. Preparing ingredients to standards set by the Head chef.
2. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and health & safety.
3. Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen.
4. Run designated sections throughout the kitchen.
