The Ivy Collection in Cheltenham is seeking a Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You'll work on a specific section, collaborating with our prep team to meet daily par levels and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes.
• Set up and stock their assigned section with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate closely with prep chefs to monitor inventory and ensure correct daily par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
• Follow instructions from the Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description:

The Commis Chef will be work on a specific section, working closely with our dedicated prep team to ensure that daily par levels are met.

Working in a large team requires you to work well under pressure and be able to easily take direction from senior staff.
