The Ivy Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will work on a specific section, supporting our prep team to meet daily par levels.

In a large team, you will need to work under pressure, take direction from senior staff, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality. Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Good culinary skills with a passion for cooking and learning.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food safety.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes.
• Set up and stock their assigned section with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate closely with prep chefs to monitor inventory and ensure correct daily par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
• Follow instructions from the Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description:

The Commis Chef will be work on a specific section, working closely with our dedicated prep team to ensure that daily par levels are met.

Working in a large team requires you to work well under pressure and be able to easily take direction from senior staff.
