Job summary

Marston's Lisvane pub is hiring a Commis Chef to join a busy kitchen. You will help prep and cook items, work within a team, and develop your skills while delivering meals to the required standard. Enjoy progression opportunities and employee benefits as part of a well-known pub company.

We value teamwork, reliability and a passion for great food. This role offers 35 hours per week at up to £13.50 per hour with a supportive, career-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Desire to learn and develop cooking skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Got a passion for food? You'll fit right in.
• Learn new prepping skills, bring a meal to life for the first time, to owning a section of the kitchen.

As Commis Chef: There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help support the kitchen team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time
