The Role:
- Prepare dishes timely and to standard
- Know the menu of the day and your responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene from storage to service
- Ensure HACCP and COSHH compliance in all food outlets
- Minimize wastage through proper control methods
- Keep kitchen equipment in good working order and report issues
- Prepare the kitchen for daily operations
- Follow company control procedures for audits
- Store food items correctly and handle deliveries properly
- Be energy efficient by turning off unused equipment and lights
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation
- Assist with stock, order, and audit procedures
- Participate in training sessions
