Job description

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, an independent automotive dealership based in the Hatfield area.

The successful candidate can expect a negotiable salary depending on experience.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends.

Our client is a small, close-knit team specializing in fleet work for commercial vehicles, emphasizing quality over quantity, with no bonus bashing. The business is based in Welham, Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Typical duties include:

1. Servicing, repair, and maintenance of HGVs or LCVs
2. Completion of job sheets and documentation
3. Liaising with the service and parts departments
4. Preparation for MOT testing
5. Vehicle inspection

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a HGV Technician or LCV Fitter
2. Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
3. Excellent mechanical knowledge
4. A Class 1 License
