TML Recruitment has been retained by an industry-leading, UK-wide property consultancy with over GBP 90M turnover in their search for a Senior Surveyor up to Associate level within their award-winning valuation team. Working from their prestigious Leeds offices, this market-leading team carries out a diverse range of valuation instructions covering all asset classes. Their patch operates throughout the North West, predominantly in Leeds City Centre, working with some of the UK’s most prestigious commercial clients. The team currently consists of 6 staff, making it large enough for a solid team but small enough for the selected candidate to make an impact, with a clear goal to progress to partnership. You will report to the Partner and head of department, who is well known in the marketplace and will offer excellent guidance and career development. They believe in nurturing talent, and with growth plans for this division, there is an unrivalled opportunity for genuine progression. What will you be doing in this role?

• Providing valuation advice to clients for loan security, accounts, and other purposes including tax, acquisitions, disposals, and financial reporting.
• Handling a diverse client base, including major lending organisations, investors, developers, local authorities, and landed estates.
• Working on exciting instructions that may not be available at other firms.

Responsibilities?

• Producing detailed, high-standard Red Book valuation reports.
• Reporting to clients and senior colleagues.
• Adhering to internal processes, lender requirements, and RICS regulations.
• Building professional business through networking internally and externally.

What experience is needed?

• MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer.
• Experience in writing clear, concise reports and providing strategic property advice and due diligence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Argus Enterprise, and development packages (training available).
• Experience in statutory, development, and investment valuations across different asset types.
• Willingness to oversee and assist junior colleagues.
• Strong communication skills.
