Your Role

As a Commercial Trading Underwriter, you will:

• Underwrite profitable mid-market commercial business across Scotland’s broker market, partnering with both national and regional brokerages.
• Handle a mix of core Property & Casualty (P&C) lines in a fast-paced, trading focused environment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key broker contacts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term success.
• Work within an underwriting license tailored to your expertise, with opportunities for further development.
• Be part of a team that values collaboration and strategic thinking, offering exposure to senior underwriters and mentorship opportunities.

• Technical & Relationship Skills – Strong understanding of P&C risks, coupled with the ability to build meaningful partnerships with brokers.
