Job summary

Gamma is hiring a Legal Counsel to support its UK service provider business. You will provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and help manage commercial contracts in a fast-paced telecoms environment.

Working with the General Counsel and stakeholders, you will draft and negotiate customer, supplier and partner agreements, improve templates and processes, and monitor regulatory developments to protect the business and enable commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in a legal role within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong ability to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Experience providing commercially focused legal advice to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across functions.
• Pragmatic, balanced approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across Gamma UK service provider business.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including customer, supplier and partner contracts.
• Develop, maintain and improve contract templates and legal processes.
• Collaborate with management, sales, product and other functions to enable commercial outcomes.
• Identify, assess and manage legal and commercial risks.
• Deliver clear, practical legal guidance to colleagues across the organisation.
• Support the General Counsel with regulatory and governance matters as required.
• Keep up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting telecoms.
