Job summary

Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB in London seeks a Commercial, Technology & Data Lawyer to lead contracting, data protection, and AI governance. Commercial, Technology & Data Lawyer London (4 days in office)Looking for a role where you'll be at the forefront of commercial contracting, data protection, and emerging technology?

You'll advise on a broad range of matters including:

• Commercial and technology contracts
• Data protection and privacy compliance
• AI governance and emerging technologies
• Outsourcing, SaaS and IT services agreements
• Strategic business initiatives across an international organisation.

This is a varied, business-facing role offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, advise on a diverse mix of commercial, technology and regulatory matters; help shape SG's approach to AI and emerging technologies, and support SG’s UK Data Protection Office.

You'll bring strong experience in commercial contracting, together with exposure to technology and data protection issues. You'll be comfortable handling routine agreements independently while contributing to wider initiatives involving AI and digital transformation.

We're looking for someone with sound judgement, a proactive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence to operate with a high degree of autonomy. Candidates from private practice, in-house, or a combination of both backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
