We are working with a highly respected Legal 500 firm in Central Manchester that is actively seeking a Family Solicitor to join its thriving and well-established private family law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor (1+ PQE) looking to develop their career within a firm known for its outstanding reputation in high-quality private family work.

The Role

Working alongside experienced family law specialists, you’ll manage a varied caseload of privately funded matters, including:

• Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
• Financial remedy proceedings (including complex and high-net-worth cases)
• Children arrangements and disputes
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitation issues and separation agreements

You’ll benefit from ongoing mentorship, strong internal referrals, and the opportunity to build trusted client relationships from day one.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years PQE in family law, ideally gained at a reputable regional or city firm
• Strong technical knowledge and experience handling privately funded family matters
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-centred approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Genuine interest in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships
