Job summary

Good Energy Group is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Installer in Lincolnshire. The role is field-based within the Solar Team and offers a competitive salary. You will install and support high-quality commercial solar PV projects, travelling to sites as needed with a 40-hour week.

Candidates with PV installations or roofing experience, a willingness to work at heights, and a full driving licence are invited. A CSCS card is desirable and DBS checks may be required; van, PPE, and tools provided.

• CSCS card (or training towards it)
• Full driving licence and own transport
• Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work site

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Solar PV Installer to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations for our commercial customers.

This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role, so we’re seeking candidates with experience in Solar PV or Roofing. You’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions, often at heights, so physical fitness and a readiness to tackle challenges are essential.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team, where working together to achieve great results is key. Whether you’re installing solar PV systems or taking on roofing tasks, your expertise will help drive the success of our projects.

While a CSCS card is desirable, we’re happy to support you in getting this certification if you don’t already have one. All you’ll need is a full driver’s license and your own transport, as this role involves travelling to multiple sites.

Essentials:

• Experience in PV Installations or Roofing
• Confident with working at heights
• CSCS card (or happy to train towards it)
• Full driver’s license
• Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

Your base of Operations: Office, warehouse, and beyond

Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent.

For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Lincoln area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday - Friday.
