Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Estimator (Commercial Roofing) based in Clitheroe to manage cost estimates, tender submissions and pricing for a range of commercial and public sector projects.

You will analyse drawings, conduct site surveys and liaise with clients and the supply chain to deliver accurate bids. The role includes a clear progression path, a Monday-to-Friday schedule, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal or flat commercial roofs or specialist building envelopes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, Bills of Quantities and commercial pricing for commercial/public sector projects.
• Prepare competitive tender submissions, analyse drawings and specifications, conduct site surveys, liaise with clients and supply chain, assess project risks.
• Support commercial and project teams throughout construction and coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, architects and engineers.
