Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain a range of commercial refrigeration equipment across the M1/M11 corridor. The role is field-based with a 45-hour week and door-to-door travel paid.

Applicants should have F-Gas and Hydrocarbons qualifications, CO2 experience is a plus, and a full UK driving licence is essential. Overtime is available at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Based on patch, able to cover M1/M11
• Proven experience with service, maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown and repair of refrigeration systems, display cabinets, bottle coolers and ice machines
• F-Gas and Hydrocarbons qualifications
• Experience with CO2 is advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned service and maintenance tasks
• Perform reactive breakdowns and fault finding
• Repair a range of commercial refrigeration equipment including display cabinets, bottle coolers and ice machines
• Work as part of a field-based mobile team covering the M1/M11 corridor

Job description

Position: Commercial Refrigeration EngineerLocation: M1/M11 CorridorBasic Salary: £18-22ph based on 45 hour week, plus Door to Door travel paid & Overtime

We have recently partnered with a leading Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning provider with more than 50 years of industry expertise and a strong reputation. Following continued growth across key accounts and more sites going live in the region, they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to cover the M1/M11 Corridor. They have key accounts within food distribution hubs, convenience stores and some restaurants and Pubs.The Commercial Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs. You will work on a range of commercial refrigeration systems, including display cabinets, bottle coolers, ice machines, packs, compressor packs and other F-Gas-based equipment.

This position is a field-based, mobile opportunity based on a 45-hour working week with door-to-door travel paid, 1-5 call-out rota, with plenty of overtime available.

Commercial Refrigeration Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £46,000 - £51,500 (depending on experience)
• Door to Door travel paid
• 45 hour week
• 1-5 call out with £100 retainer
• Overtime rates 1.5x and 2x (plenty available)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
