Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing business investing in people, technology and future growth. You'll work across commercial or industrial environments, handling fault-finding, maintenance, installations and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer.
• Relevant refrigeration / RACHP qualifications.
• Current F-Gas certification.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Practical experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
• Diagnose faults and identify effective and efficient solutions.
• Complete refrigeration installations and commissioning activities where required.
• Work on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
• Represent the company positively while working on customer sites.
• Work independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider engineering team.
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge as new technologies, systems and refrigerants are introduced.
