Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting for a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Southwest region, including PL, EX, BA and BH postcodes. This field-based role offers a 45-hour week with door-to-door travel paid and generous overtime opportunities.

You will service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, carry out fault finding and repairs on display cabinets, bottle coolers, ice machines and CO2 packs, and work on a rota of 1–5 call-outs with a company van provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with service, maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment.
• F-GAS ticket advantageous; Co2 Packs experience helpful.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned service and maintenance tasks on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.

Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

Location: South West (PL, EX, BA, BH Postcodes).

Basic Salary: £46,000 - £51,500 + Door to Door Travel Paid + Overtime.

We have recently partnered with a leading Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning provider with more than 50 years of industry expertise and a strong reputation. Following continued growth across key accounts, and more sites going live in the region they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Southwest region, predominately covering sites in the PL, EX, BA, and BH postcode areas. They have a key account's distribution depot in Saltash, Plymouth they maintain, other sites in the region are typically restaurants and convenience stores.

The Commercial Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs on a range of commercial refrigeration systems, including display cabinets, bottle coolers, ice machines, CO₂ packs, compressor packs and other F-Gas-based equipment.

This position is a field based, mobile opportunity based on a 45-hour working week with door-to-door travel paid, 1-5 call-out rota, with plenty of overtime available.

Job Requirements

• Based on patch, able to cover PL, EX, BA & BH Postcodes.
• Proven experience with the service, maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown and repair of refrigeration systems, display cabinets, bottle coolers and ice machines.
• F-GAS ticket, and experience of Co2 Packs advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £46,000 - £51,500 (depending on experience).
• Door to Door travel paid.
