Job summary

Confidential, based in Harrow, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support fee earners across a broad range of property matters from instruction through completion.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of paralegal experience in a law firm, an LLB or GDL/PGDL, and a genuine interest in commercial property law with strong organisational and communication skills.

• Ambition to qualify as a Solicitor in the future.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents, reports and correspondence
• Assisting with commercial real estate transactions and due diligence
• Conducting Land Registry, Companies House and legal research
• Preparing and submitting Land Registry and SDLT applications
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties
• Managing file opening, compliance and AML procedures
• Preparing bills, completion statements and transaction documents
• Managing diaries, workflows and case management systems
• Supporting fee earners with general administration and document production
• Providing assistance across multiple teams when required

A well-established commercial law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its Harrow office. The Role

As the Commercial Real Estate Paralegal you will support fee earners on a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.

The role will include:

• Drafting legal documents, reports and correspondence
• Assisting with commercial real estate transactions and due diligence
• Conducting Land Registry, Companies House and legal research
• Preparing and submitting Land Registry and SDLT applications
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties
• Managing file opening, compliance and AML procedures

The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal?

You will be a proactive and organised individual with a genuine interest in commercial property law.

The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal must have:

• LLB or GDL/PGDL qualification
• At least one year's paralegal experience within a law firm
• Commercial real estate, asset management or landlord and tenant experience would be advantageous
• Ambition to qualify as a Solicitor in the future
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Professional and client-focused approach with strong teamwork skills
