Trethowans seeks an experienced Solicitor in Southampton to join its Commercial Property team. Based in the Southampton office, you will handle a varied caseload across acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, leases, and development projects while delivering clear, pragmatic advice.

You will contribute to business development, nurture client relationships, and mentor junior colleagues within a collaborative regional firm.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' PQE in commercial property or equivalent
• Proven track record handling complex property transactions
• Strong client-relationship and business development abilities
• Interest in marketing and contributing to the team's growth
• Collaborative and supportive approach within a team

Responsibilities

• Handle a busy caseload of acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, leases, and development projects
• Provide strategic, commercially focused advice tailored to clients
• Support and mentor junior team members as needed
• Contribute to business development and nurture long-term client relationships
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless client experience
