Qualificações

• 2 to 5 years PQE as a solicitor with a solid grounding in commercial property work.
• Experience handling commercial property transactions with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
• Strong drafting skills and close attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in businesses, investment and transactional work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service.
• The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and use your initiative.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with colleagues across different practice areas.
• Confidence using technology and modern legal working practices.
• Enthusiasm for networking, marketing and business development and for building your own professional profile.
• A practical approach and willingness to broaden your expertise as the practice grows.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a broad commercial property caseload with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters and negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation.
• Handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Advising on development and investment property matters.
• Supporting the property aspects of corporate acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations.
• Working with the firm's corporate and dispute resolution teams on transactions and disputes involving commercial property.
• Developing work from the firm's existing SME client base while taking part in networking, marketing and business development activity.
• Building strong relationships with business owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants and other commercial clients.
• Delegating appropriate work to paralegals and trainee solicitors and contributing to the development of the wider team.
• Contributing to the continued growth of the commercial property practice with scope to progress towards Head of Department.
