Job summary

Oculus Legal Group, in partnership with a long-established regional law firm, is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join the team in Milton Keynes. You will handle a varied commercial property caseload with excellent mentorship.

Flexible/hybrid working with clear progression opportunities and responsibility across a broad range of high-quality matters, including sales, acquisitions, leases and refinancing.

Qualifications

• NQ-3 years PQE with experience in Commercial Property
• Law degree with LPC/SQE or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a supportive team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and acquisitions of commercial property
• Handle land acquisitions and disposals
• Oversee commercial acquisitions of residential property
• Draft and acquire leases, renewals, variations and assignments
• Handle pre-emption, option and overage agreements
• Oversee property refinancing and auction transactions
• Manage Right to Manage matters

Commercial Property Solicitor – NQ-5 Years PQE

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: Milton Keynes

Oculus Legal Group is working in partnership with a long-established and highly regarded regional law firm that is continuing to invest in the growth of its Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-5 Years PQE) to join a firm with an outstanding reputation, genuine progression opportunities and exciting long-term growth plans.

Working closely with the Head of Department, you will receive excellent mentorship while developing your expertise across a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload including:

• Sales and acquisitions of commercial property
• Land acquisitions and disposals
• Commercial acquisitions of residential property
• Grant and acquisition of new leases
• Lease renewals, variations and assignments
• Option Agreements
• Overage Agreements
• Pre-Emption Agreements
• Property refinancing
• Auction transactions
• Right to Manage matters

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• NQ-3 years' PQE with experience in Commercial Property
• A Law degree together with the LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
• The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a supportive team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
