Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established, welcoming team based in Sutton Coldfield with flexibility to work from alternative West Midlands offices.

You will handle a varied caseload including sales and purchases of commercial property, landlord and tenant matters, and pension-related transfers, taking ownership while contributing to a collaborative firm environment. A competitive salary (£50,000–£60,000 DOE) and generous holiday are on offer.

The Role

As part of this role, you will manage a varied commercial property caseload, including:

• Sale and purchase of commercial property
• Sale of business assets
• Sale of property at auction
• Secured lending, mortgages and remortgages
• Landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals, licences to assign, licences to sublet, licences to alter, and surrenders
• Pension scheme transactions, including in specie transfers
• Land Registry applications, including first registrations and adverse possession claims
• Section 25 notices
• Acting on behalf of management companies
